J.Majury now at Tattoos for the Individual

Announcing our new arrival at Tattoos for the individual, J. Majury!
Jay works in various styles with a lean towards the oriental style and traditional tattoo styles, he also does some kick ass lettering!
In the three years that he has been tattooing he has shown a strong desire to push his art in new directions and we look forward to working with him as he explores new directions and grows as an artist.

Saskatoon

I just spent the weekend in Saskatoon, hanging out with some cool cats at a great tattoo convention.
I got to see some old friends and make some new ones.
I did skull tattoos all weekend with one exception, my friend Sean Treble and I did a collaborative tattoo on his mom (Wanda) of some flowers, it was a great experience collaborating with Sean on a tattoo, thanks Sean!
Another fun thing for me was tattooing skulls at Rites of Passage Tattoo until 6:30 am on Sunday night!
I had a good time in Saskatoon, here are some pictures of the tattoos I did and a few other pictures from my trip...

A little about Jay...
A product of the Canadian Prairie, J. Majury grew up here in Winnipeg andserved an apprenticeship under Jason Pelland of Ink Illusions Tattoo Studio. 3 years later, he has joined up with Kurt Wiscombe and Alex Adams of Tattoos for the Individual to continue the journey even further. Comfortable in both colorand black and grey work, J. enjoys tattooing a variety of different styles particularly anything of asian influence or traditional americana.
